I am currently exploring the different monochrome picture profile of the Zf. Quite pleased with the results.
Also The Z35mm f/1.8 is now my favorite Z mount lens.

I just got into the Z mount and I am blown away by the rendering of my Z 35mm 1.8S. It made me realize that Nikon as a pretty unique set of 1.8 prime that offer outstanding optical quality. I am really excited to discover what the other lens of the series have to offer as well.
Why not start a thread where we can share some of our favorite images taken with those 1.8S prime lens.
The list of lenses:
NIKKOR Z 20MM F/1.8 S
NIKKOR Z 24MM F/1.8 S
NIKKOR Z 35MM F/1.8 S
NIKKOR Z 50MM F/1.8 S
NIKKOR Z 85MM F/1.8 S
^^^ I really like the insane color output and the sharpness you're getting from this lens. Both are incredible. The photo also has great 3D.
As an environmental portrait that background is interesting enough that when I view the portrait, I'm trying to see a little bit more DOF to get more information about the environment, because the environment in that portrait is just beautiful. In some respects it's a shame to discard it using the rapid DOF falloff that comes from wide open shooting. Though I like the wide-open subject isolation you've used in the other photos that have uninteresting backgrounds, I think the first photo could be an exception to that approach because that image has both an interesting subject and an interesting background. Subject isolation is great when you've got a boring background, but it's not always as pleasing with an interesting background. I like the one tree that is in the sharp plane of focus, and it's telling my eye to look for other trees that are sharp as well. Unfortunately it's the only one that's in focus and that leaves me looking for more. With this photo I wish there were more background detail. Just my $0.02.

Hi, Thanks for sharing you insight. I do use the shallow depth of field a bit too often but i tend to like the results better that way, especially in portrait. That picture in particular should have been taken with a bit more depth of field no doubt!
