Finally some good portraits
Although for me personally DOF is too shallow, and background compression is too strong.
But it is my taste only, what does not change the fact, that presented images are well composed and edited.
Also (and this is in no way meant to discredit the OP's exceptional work, this is more in response to someone's comment in this thread), there are many talented photographers in this forum who create and post excellent portraits. It's not a "finally" sort of moment when someone comes here and shares exceptional work. Let's not be so disparaging towards the work of anyone who posts their work in this forum, whether it's up to your standards or not.
Great shots! The ephemeral nature of the composition (shallow DoF, compression, pastel color pallet, etc.) works best for me in the second shot. Perhaps it is because I have a daughter about that age but the image implied more of a story about the fleeting, but beautiful, nature of our youth.
(Not implying it wasn't a valid choice for the other two images!)
