Bruce,

Beautiful images, and thank you so much for noting that the crane breaths shot was a digital manipulation. It was a great shot in any event but it's easy to try to pass it off as a fortuitous capture.
Well-done all around - I look forward to more of your images.
Steve

Thank you Steve... As I've stated elsewhere in this thread, our digital tools are so sophisticated today and technically all of our photos are now digitally manipulated. In this case, however, my manipulation was an attempt to purposely create something that was not there, thus the fair disclosure

great shots, wow. and i learned there's foxes in Japan.

Thanks... There is a robust red fox population in Japan. In fact, these are a sub species of the the Vulpes vulpes we see in North America and Europe. The Ezo fox is Vulpes vulpes schrenki

It would be easy to comment on each one and give accolades Bruce so I found it quite simple to hit the VOTE button and just enjoy them all several times👍🏼

these are mind boggling, Bruce. each one has something added to bring these to great shots which convey the mood and the feelings of the place. I feel like I am there with you. thanks so much for sharing and yes a big vote from me.

Thanks KD...
I found Japan such an amazing place to be a wildlife photographer. The animals are so familiar, yet unique. While shooting, I tried to capture the feeling and mood that I experience when viewing Japanese art.

Thanks for the vote
