our own little star - Sitara (Star in Hindi)
My co-travelers and I were given the privilege and the honor of naming a puma cub. It was a bitter sweet experience since the cub was most likely born with some congenital defect in the rear leg(s). here it is safely tucked away in its cave/den awaiting the return of its mother, Coiran.

These are great KD. 4 is incredibly powerful yet the curtness of the kitten and the interaction with mom are also special.

thanks Douglas. It was heart warming to see the devoted mother and the doting cub, but heart wrenching to see the cub dragging its rear legs.

Wonderful set. Like Morris I like seeing the mother/cub interaction, but the solo shots of the beautiful and powerful mom are also incredible.

KD... your puma work is just top notch!
Much like my trip to Japan, it looks like the gift that keeps on giving.
The black and white photos are so very creative and interesting to look at.
One of these days I'll have the hone of posting the "thread of the week," but it looks like I've got to stop posting when you post your stuff
