We've had a very mild winter in Southern Oregon this year but on March 2nd we finally woke up to a beautiful dusting of fresh snow on the valley floor. I was up at dawn and promptly got out the door in search of images. The conditions were calm and exceptionally beautiful. As the day progressed the snow began to fall again. I managed to capture some images and record a behind-the-scenes style video. The conditions were short-lived, as today (March 3rd) the snow is mostly gone from the valley floor and only remains in the surrounding hills and mountains. It was fun while it lasted!
I like all three, number two and three particularly convey a sense of serenity. Great choice for foreground in number 1. Though, I wonder if shooting from a slightly higher vantage point may have given you a little more separation between foreground and background?
