I made my first trip to Norway in early February and enjoyed exploring the Lofoten area. Here are a few favorites from the trip. Any thoughts are welcome.
Terrific set of photos! Some friends and I have been thinking about destinations for auroras with excellent scenery, and Lofoten certainly seems to fill the bill.

That was my thinking. I wanted to be somewhere that would be great to photograph even without aurora (which is never a sure thing anyway). Norway and Iceland are great choices.

Beautiful shots mate! I really want to visit Norway too in the near future...did you do it solo or part of a tour?
I had looked into guides and tours, and ended up deciding that my friend and I could do it on our own. I'm comfortable driving in snow and ice so that helped. There is plenty of information online to plan a solo trip.

Kyle, beautiful setting and you captured it so well. All are wall hangers. Did u fly directly to Lofoten or did you take a ferry with car?
We flew into Evenes. It just seemed much more reliable than flying into Bodø and making a ferry connection. Especially in the winter.
