Same! Ordered mine at 1:11 AM. Shipping status should change on the 28th as that's when it says they start shipping. I'm going to guess we should hopefully be some of the first to receive one from them!
For early purchasers: Please post back here or start a new thread once you all get your cameras and have a chance to use them. I confess, I'm more than curious. I didn't think I would be, and I have no plans to get one, but ....
I’m planning on doing a pretty decent comparison to the V. Will post it when done.

Fuji now on record as saying that they are only scaled up to manufacturing 2x the V monthly units. Not sure how easy of a camera this will be to get for a while.
I assume they have been manufacturing the X100VI for at least a month.

My local camera store is getting theirs in next Wednesday. I’m near the top of the list, getting a black one, have a silver 100T already. Started talking to them back in October, before we even knew the name of it.
I would be a lot more interested if it was an 18mm lens on there.... a crop-sensor Q2/Q3 substitute.
Then, you could have the option of 28mm with 35/50/70mm digital crop options. I hate being limited to a 35mm equiv on a fixed-lens, only option to go wider is a big chunky external/add-on.
I understand the desire for the wider lens, but 28mm isn’t actually wide enough for when you really want to go wide. I’m surprised how useful the 23/35 format is. I find that when I need to go wide, I really need to go 24mm.

Ummm, that is totally subjective. I seldom want anything wider than 28 mm (on FF).
Edit: But to me it's too wide for a fixed focal length camera. 35-40 is perfect.
This will be my first Fuji ever. Love the form factor, the film simulations and like having three prime lenses in one and IBIS. Great for environmental portraits and the 70mm will be good for head and shoulders shots as long as I don't come too close to the subject. Saw the sample galleries and the colours are fantastic and beautiful skin tones. Overall bokeh looks great and if I wanted more subject separation I'll just apply the excellent Adobe lens blur filter on it. I think for my bracket three simulations for portraits I'll go with Astia, Reala and Acros.
Ordered one in classic black. Somehow I feel like dressing up when I use this camera. Maybe I'll polish my double strap monk shoes----in black of course :-) ASTIA la vista baby, I'm in the Fuji camp!!!

Some camera website in China stated they received ~500,000 pre-orders if that is to be believed, well over yearly production capacity stated by Fuji.
I'm hopeful but honestly if it takes many months I'll just grab a used V.

I prefer the full frame equivalent of a 35mm-40mm lens. I tried a Leica Q 28mm (though some say it is actually wider) when it originally came out and I never could get used to that focal length for a general purpose. If I could only shoot with 2 primes I would pick 35mm and 85mm equivalents.
I think most people that have or will have an X100 series camera have other cameras and this is their fun camera, night camera, party camera, easy walk around camera and or pair it with another camera.
I am planing a few trips for this spring and summer and I want to travel light. My plan is to bring the X100VI and X-T5 with 32mm touit, 50mm f2 along with a Sigma 10-18mm plus a small Lensbaby. All should fit in a small bag and I will choose what to bring on each outing.

I fall into this category...for about a decade, an X100 cam has been my 'go everywhere' camera. It's small enough to fit in a shoulder bag and leave room for other essentials like sunglasses (summer) or a toque (winter). It's fun as hell to shoot with and I pretty much only use the film sims on bracket so I don't do any post.
My main camera system is a full-frame Sony, and on my most recent trip to Japan, by far my most frequent companion was the X100V and my Sony with the Sigma 85/1.4. Both fit in an ONA Brixton.
The pre-orders appear to have gone insane...while I'm not sure how much of it to believe, it would appear that Fuji has sold about 3 or 4 years worth of their production before they even deliver the first unit. I wouldn't have upgraded my V, now I know I simply can't, feasibly, so gear lust is gone haha.
