In excellent condition with some wear, but very low shutter count - practically brand new at <7,900. some wear on the grip, and missing some covers on the side hookups (not sure what they are called). Comes with original charger, 2 brand new third party batteries and charger. I will throw in a memory card as well. (I am pretty sure this was the camera model (with the 24-70 mk 1) Annie used for the Disney portraits and the Queen of England.) Everything works as it should.

Truly, a special camera. What this body does to landscapes and subjects in the distance is almost 3-D. I’ve never seen effects like the 1Ds III does in any other camera. A unique look in a world of mirrorless clarity. Good luck with the sale!

Thanks! Yes, why is it that the older cameras has such beautiful colors compared to todays? I am still not sure. My theory is that they are so focused on charts and high ISO these days that they compromised on quality. Just my theory though!

They were trying to replicate the look of film is what I’ve heard! It seems to make sense but I dunno.. so tragic how today’s cameras don’t do that!! I have a 1d iv with a lot of life that produces such great images too!!

I loved this camera. It - to me - could create an image which for color and 'personality' has been untouched by Canon's later offerings. Wonder why I allowed it to leave? Curious. So why are you selling it off? Newer gear?
I think I got grumpy about body's large form factor and blithered off to a 5Dx. (But hung on to the 1D MK IIn.) Now you've got me tempted. Like I need a 4th…

I am so torn about selling it. I just have too many cameras! I have a 1dx MK2 and trying to downsize, but every time I do I end up re-purchasing the good stuff. I tell myself that no one can see or tell the difference, but I can haha!
