Sometimes images come to you in the middle of completing mundane tasks. Going out to feed the animals on one cold morning one of them left a present in the early sunlight.
Leah this brings to mind a hilarious happening at a County Fair Suzanne and I grew up working and attending! Our town was a agricultural rural town as we grew up. The County Fair and the Labor Day Parade were the highlights of the towns events.
We were enjoying a ice cream cone on a bench on the midway of the fair. A 4H'er or FFA'er was walking his prize dairy cow to the ring and the cow had to "relieve itself". Well it was a bit more "mushy" than your post but I said to Suzanne, "Let's see how long it takes someone to "step in it"! Well 5 minutes later a young boy wearing flip flops, not paying attention to his surroundings, saunters on by and wham....he steps right into it and poop is oozing thru his toes and he is really upset! We could not stop laughing! Just a bit of jocularity!

In the winter and spring the farmer's spread the manure on their fields for fertilizer. No one likes the smell but me! To me it is the smell of "country air"!
