Two Moons On The Green. We spent the previous two evenings on the Green at the Seven Mile River Ranch, perched on Mike's Bridge. The moon is in an interesting cycle rising at nearly its furthermost point to the north of the year. For the past two evenings it rose at about 45 degrees off magnetic north, or Northeast. This provided some great photography opportunities which I have patiently waited for the past several months. The first night, altho it was clear all day, clouds moved in from the north and obscured the moonrise, but provided incredible color at sunset. On the second evening, it remained clear and boom--I got pretty much what I wanted, until next time! These images are a compilation of both days./djb
