Ran it at box speed ISO 200. Try 100?
Scanned it with my Sony A1/Macro
Yeah, definitely shoot it at 100.
My local shop does not have it in stock yet so it will be a while before I get to play with it.
Not really interested in buying a large enough quantity to negate the shipping costs!

I bought a roll in each format from Glazer's in Seattle when I was there last week. I'm looking forward to shooting both. Your scans look better than I might have expected.

Shot a roll of this film on my M3. Some decent, some horrible. Here's some of the decent.
Those shots of the truck are great. It gives me a lot of hope. The YouTube reviews suggest the colour can be a bit unpredictable, possibly as light moves away from 5500k.

Turns out Canon Sure Shots have a default ISO of 25, not 100 like all the other brands. So DX code hacking it is! Fortunately it's just a matter of blocking two contacts with electrical tape to go from 200 to 100 ISO.

Phoenix @ 100 and pulled during development is lovely especially at 120! It's certainly different than Kodak or Fuji colors. This was one of my best shots with the first Phoenix. Home developed and home scanned with a GFX 50S II.

Looking at his results, it seems to be still a difficult film to master. I tried my hand at the first iteration and it was quite catastrophic, each roll was a disaster but it may have been partly the lab’s fault. The 120 version was pretty awesome though.
It’s however fantastic what they’re trying to accomplish.

These are all shot at ISO 100 and dev'd normally. But since this P&S doesn't have a sophisticated metering you can see the stress points.
Halation is certainly there but not as much as say Cinestill 400D. The shadows have a steepish curve so you get some drop off as you can see in both of these shots. I'm still pretty amazed at the acutance though.

Your results were from your lab messing it up and not using a profile specific to the film when they scanned it.
The 35 and 120 versions are obviously the same film stock. Only difference is the size.

I did ask the lab where I had the 120 version developed and scanned to redo a scan of the 35mm I gave to another lab but it was no better, if the 35mm version is indeed the same, the first lab must have messed up the developing part badly, I never have had that issue before.
I’d like to give the new version a go but I can’t find it here yet.
