Very nicely done, Elijah! I like it in a square crop or portrait crop a little better though and crop off the very bright band across the bottom.

I would agree about the brightness at the bottom. The crop doesn’t bother me as much because I like to foliage on both sides. They provide a sense of place. Maybe this is one of those times where you “bend” the rules a bit!

Very wonderfully done image! Precious!

I also like the foliage on both sides. Gives the frame some dimension and funnels my vision directly to her.

An afterthought - rather than crop, simply use a linear gradient and tone the brightness down a bit.

This is a really nice image! I too like the foliage on the sides. It does a nice job leading your eye to the subject. Well done!
