With it's compromises I still think the Septon is a great every-day lens for Nikon Zf. As a perfect match as the Ultron 40mm been for years on my FM2. Pqicture control auto or B/W, jpegs
Took my Zf and Voigtlander 40mm 1.2 out to the fair Saturday. Absolutely love the contrast of this lens. It was definitely challenging to MF some of these shots but a lot of fun. Had a few people ask me what camera I'm using which is always fun as well. Impressed i could hand hold the long exposures too.

When we got Frankie from an adoption agency locally it said “lab” haha. Looks like a lab and pitbull mix in the head and face and a German shorthair in her body.
She acts like a lab. She’s around 14 months now.
Funny thing is our last dog said lab mix too. She ended up looking like a border collie mix.
