Since we have a nice majority of "photos taken with" in this thread, I think some photos of are not disturbing. I'm at home recovering from surgery (commeon procedure, norhing dangerous), so I'm also very tempted to post some gear-pics

You have uploaded some examples which suggest that there's not a lot wrong with the bokeh, particularly at close focus, whereas Scott uploaded a shocker, at distance, which suggests otherwise.

We can't conclude anything if we don't know the aperture he used. I always give this info.
