How is shooting this on the ZF? I am interested in this lens and curious how the experience is. Manual focus with eye tracking is also interesting. What are your thoughts?

Playing with near-MFD with the 28/2.8, had to crank to f18 just to get usable DOF. Not ideal, but interesting getting on the ground level to capture tiny details like this. This flower is about half an inch wide.
Did a comparison of MFD on the 28/2.8 and 40/2 lenses. A bit surprised to see that the 28 has the better magnification and cleaner transitions/bokeh up close. Kind of a pointless exercise but wanted to satisfy my curiosity
I was reminded that I have a 20% mist filter, and just happened to have the step up adapter to use it on the 28/2.8 and 40/2 so going to play with that in the near future, here's a first stab with the 28/2.8.
Three photos from yesterday, resized and one of them cropped. Nikon Zf, picture control auto, Iso-400. Voigtländer Super Wide Heliar 15mm Z, Ultron 40mm SLII & Nokton 58mm SLII-s.
