This lens looks like a winner for those of us liking the CV ‘look’ on 28mm. Have been wondering how well the F mount versions render when adapted to Zcams. Looking at what you’ve posted here and subsequently so far- looks damn good in color and fit B&W. Am curious how well it performs at MFD, looks like you were pretty close with the cat.
This is a pretty bad test in terms of control (handheld, mixed light, etc) but it shows you wide open, f8, and f22 and just how close MFD is. This is not a lens I ever plan on using at MFD, nor would I be letting that be a make or break in the "should I buy or not" decision. The amount of usable DOF just isn't there. I guess focus stacking could be an option if you have exceptionally steady hands.
Thanks man, appreciate that. So razor thin at MFD 2.8!

I used my Nokton Z 50mm f1.0 on the Z8 tonight on a high contrast backlit subject... painful reminder of how well corrected the Nikon 50mm f1.2 and 58mm f0.95 are... the level of fringing on the Voigtlander is way higher.
Just wanted to say your model ports with this lens are tremendous. The little like link does not provide the proper praise these photos deserve. Well done!

Great samples in this thread, but I have yet to see anything with the the APO-Skopar 90mm/2.8 SLIIs. I’m quite interested in using this as a compact option short tele for the Zf.

Good example of the 28/2.8's hot mess of flaring...learning to not shoot it anywhere towards the sun. Tends to cover the image in greens and purples.
