p.2 #2 · RRS Sony A7RV L-bracket, anyone tried it?
RRS L-Brackets are usually good but they have gotten so expensive I really don't want to give them over $200 for a simple L-Bracket. I have a SmallRig folding L-Bracket for my a7RV but I am now looking for one for the a7CII/R and not finding anything but a bottom Plate from SmallRig

After years of using a 3-legged thing L bracket I replaced it with one by ProMediaGear (PLSA1T).
The vertical is offset providing full access to side ports whichever orientation you're shooting in without having to extend the vertical (though the vertical is extendable if you should need that feature, I don't). It also has a lip to prevent it twisting when attached to the camera.
Cost me ~£125 delivered (had to get it from an EU-based store as no UK stockists). They're around $130 US.
Long story short, I'm really pleased with it.
This looks awesome.
I do wonder if they should just get rid of the extendible section and have it be a single piece. Perhaps with that along with remove the cold shoe they could make the whole thing smaller/simpler which would be nice. Still considering getting it when I get my hands on an A7R5.
How is the side section for carrying the camera at your side? Comfortable in the hand with the camera by your side when walking?
