Price: $24,995.00 Payment method: PayPal Item condition: 9 Shows signs of use, but very clean
Wonderful lens. Includes original matching s/n box, matching UV filter, front cap, OLLUX hood and rear cap.
In excellent condition. Was CLA'd by YYE in 2023. Focus is near spot on with a digital M, which is rare for this lens. A few pieces of dust inside (thanks Youxin lol - but in my opinion not worth reopening the lens for), very minor cleaning marks (really only visible under the EVF of a macro lens). No haze, no fungus, no separation.
UPS next day air shipping included in the CONUS. US Only. I prefer a fee free payment like Bank Transfer, PayPal F&F, Zelle, etc. Regular PayPal is ok for established members with feedback, but add 4%. I’m happy to text you a video of the lens. If you’re in Nashville you’re welcome to come inspect it. No trades please. 3 day returns if you're not happy.
Here's a quick YouTube video, please change to 4k if needed:
Stunning lens, and one of my all time favorites of many Leica lens. Good thing you have the front press on lens cap as they are very hard to come by. Is that really a 41mm UV filter though? Best of luck with the sale.

Thanks Mark. It's one of my all time favorites too. Not 100% sure I want to sell (am I ever?), but figured I'd list it and see.
Thanks. My copy comes with a sliver metal cover with a Leica logo on the front face. I checked James Larger's illustration book but no cap is illustrated. It is interested to note that the cap actually fit over the E41 filter, not over the steel rim.

That is interesting. My cap does fit over the filter albeit a little loose. It fits snugly over the lens. What is the P/N significance on the cap?
If your front cap is original it should fit snugly over the front of the lens. It should also have serrations along the top outer edge (but a lot of these era caps had that) so it's the precise fit that determines if yours is correct or not. Again if it snugly presses on the front of the lens only then it's an original and saves you between $500-$750 to locate another and that is when you can even find one.
From your picture it looks totally correct to me as that is exactly what an original looks like.
