Actually, this is a girl who lives in a nunnery in Himachal Pradesh, India. She is a young novice, and very lively as well! Most of the novices start out in this lifestyle at a very young age. I wonder how they pick them, whether it is simply a family decision, or there is some kind of spiritual ceremony or vetting involved? You can feel her Buddha nature when she speaks to you, as is the case with all the novices at this nunnery.

Ah, her eyes look right through me, Charles. I'm not sure, but I think
I'd like to see a bit more depth of field to include sharp focus on the
flower and fingers also.

I have nothing but a deep respect for any religious order.
They seem to speak in a language that soothes the inner soul regardless of who you are!

This young nun's smile does indeed look into my soul! Probably doesn't like what she sees but........

Was it necessary to put that title? It's insulting to a practicing Buddhist. You don't call every long-haired hobo, Jesus, right? Why not call it a novice Buddhist nun?

Actually, you are making a lot of assumptions here, unless you are a Buddhist yourself, in which case I would accept that you yourself find it offensive. Otherwise you are applying what you know from your own religious upbringing. We all actually have a Buddha nature. That's part of Buddhism. I was referring to that nature in the title.

Anyways, I just changed the title because I don't want to offend anyone, no matter what the reason.
