Paul Buff made a durable and flexible 320 Watt-Second "kit". The gear for sale here can also be pointed into an umbrella with the supplied adapter. Softboxes with a central rod will also accept this light - usually smooths output of the softbox. Paul Buff offers some folding softboxes that are nearly round and use this ring light extra-efficiently.
An optical slave is built in.
The adapter seen on the left of the photo connects to camera and/or light stand. the top plate adjusts to achieve the right balance in the hand or other mounting choice.
Two extra flash tubes. The unit uses two flash tubes to make the full circle.
There is an extra reflector that cracked (former owner.) Still works, another nice back up.
This ring head is either wall-powered or Vagabond-powered. (Vagabond is the name of the Paul Buff location power packs.)
