Between this lens and the skilled folks posting I am seeing some spectacular work here.
I have not even been out with mine outside of a couple of 30 minute walks, but I already know this is my favorite walk in the woods lens ever. It is so light and easy to handle that it is a joy to use.
I am so happy with what this lens provides!

Couldn't agree with you more. I debated buying this lens initially, but sure glad I did. It surprised me with how easy it is to carry, and luckily I got a sharp copy. My other lenses have been neglected as the 180-600 appears to now have almost a permanent home on my Z9.

I wonder just how many of the people whining about how they got a bad copy have even half a clue on how to use such a long lens.

I've been watching this heron's leg issue getting worse and worse. I contacted a wildlife rehabilitation person through the NYS DEC but they couldn't help. She told me it appears to be a bacterial infection. I'm also being careful not to get too close when I do see him.
