I came across a Chinese brand called Artra Lab. They sell lenses for different camera mounts, including Leica M. The lenses are affordable and seem to be well-made. Not sure if it's a rebrand of other makers.

Appears it's a version of the Mr. Ding/Syoptic 50/1.1. Block diagram and MTFs are identical. Is this the old body housing design with the deeply recessed filter ring? Note the price for the Artralab is in CAD.

Oh, I get it! It's like the lens is identical, just marketed under various names!
I believe this has become common practice with Chinese suppliers nowadays. They don't manufacture the lenses themselves; instead, they rebrand, package, and sell them.
