p.1 #1 · Leica Q2 does not save the focusing point size in Field mode
I'm having difficulty maintaining the smaller size as the focusing point on the Q2's "Field".
Even with Firmware 5.0, Leica hasn't addressed this issued. The focusing point (Field) always goes back to the "medium size" instead of staying where you set it. So, every time you turn on the camera, you have to change it to the small or large size if you want that. Saving the small or large size as a custom setting doesn't work for me because it goes back to the medium size when I turn off the camera. It's not a huge issue, but it's definitely not ideal in my opinion.

I think I figured it out. Check to see if you have AF Mode under FN or quick access. Make sure your AF Mode in the Menu system and in the quick access are both under Field. Then adjust spot size. It should now stick. When mine wasn't stick, the AF Mode in quick access was under Field but under the menu system it was Face/Eye.

That was it. Thank you Sean!
It's worth mentioning that Face/Eye always reverts to 'medium' which is not a big deal.
