A new one for me, a nature reserve I previously didn't know about that is only 15minutes from home. It also has a great variety of birds and one that is quite uncommon locally, the Rose Robin.

1) Rose Robin

Z9 + 600TC, 1/160s f/5.6 at 840.0mm iso2200

2) Olive-backed Oriole

Z9 + 600TC, 1/160s f/5.6 at 840.0mm iso2500

3) Golden Whistler - male

Z9 + 600TC, 1/500s f/5.6 at 840.0mm iso160

4) Golden Whistler - female

Z9 + 600TC, 1/160s f/4.0 at 600.0mm iso1100

5) Australian Swamphen

Z9 + 600TC, 1/160s f/4.0 at 600.0mm iso1400

6) Grey Fantail - for some reason, this little guy had no fantail. His fantail feathers were completely missing! It didn't stop him flitting about like any other Fantail, but I hope it doesn't ruin his chances of finding a mate. Maybe he had a lucky escape from a predatory bird that managed to take his tail feathers.
