Curious why was the Z6III added to a Z9/Z8 image thread. The sensors aren't even the same solar system. 24mp to 45mp and a stacked to partially stacked sensor?
This just waters down the thread IMO. Especially when there already an "official Z6III image thread"

Patrick had a few too many martinis and misguidedly edited the thread. Luckily we're all savvy enough to use the correct threads despite the naming mishap I don't think anyone has posted any Z6iii images in here, and I'll just report them to get moved if they do.

Reporting to get those lowly Z6 images our of your Z8/9 post? That's an extra kinda special, isn't it? There's so much post done to the photos in here that the sensor hardly matters at this point, a couple pages back had the most sharp blurry photo I've seen.
It took you a week to come up with this reply? And yes, to answer your question. This has always been a thread for Z8 and Z9 shooters. These are very different cameras than the Z6iii. Sorry if reality hurts your feelings.

lol...well, yesterday was the first time I'd ever stepped into this post, to see if anybody was posting Z6III images, instead I found the camera body gatekeeper. This ain't a particularly happening forum these days.
Anyway, you do you, no feelings hurt here. I wish you luck in your journey against camera body inclusion.
BTW, if exifs didn't exists and nobody told you, you'd have no clue which images were from which bodies.
The Nikon subforum is the second most active forum on this website. I won’t take full credit for its revitalization, but my participation via purpose built threads spiked activity significantly. I second Scott on this. I mean, there is literally a Z6 III Image Thread that I started the day the Z6 III was announced. Otherwise we'd just post all images in the Official Nikon Z Image Thread where people post Z8, Z50, Z30, Z6, etc... the idea is we get to see the images (AF, quality, etc) specifically with a camera.

Cross-posted to 400 f4.5 thread. I had been shooting a couple juvenile peregrine falcons in flight, when suddenly this adult flew right past me, close enough that I felt the breeze on my right shoulder. This is the only frame in focus before it exceeded the len's MFD. Z9 with 400 f4.5 plus 1.4 TC, f6.3, 1/2000, ISO 1600
