You seem to have gotten better and better and better with each outing John. These files look marvelous
Love the dappled light, those eyes are incredible and such wonderful warmth in those before sunset. You pulled out amazing detail in all of these and nailed the eye in each, truly a remarkable set of images of one of your favorite subjects

Thank you for your kind words. It was so nice going to the nest and shooting them in the evening. It was a nice cool evening, sun going down and only the photographer who shared the location with me. We kept our distance, were quiet and just enjoyed and watched.

Thanks Karl. I will miss not going back there. Hopefully they will nest in the same spot next year.
