yeah.... fx3 is not looking so hot right now, although I did get it for a deal and do use the XLR....... it's not my only XLR setup I have though, so...... it's likely going to go.......
The FX3 is still awesome. The problem is Sony and how they neglect their owner base. I can understand not providing feature updates for discontinued models, but for current line up models? They are rolling out 4k 120 in the future for the ZV for a price it seems. Id rather have the option to pay for some features id use than not have that option at all. I'd like focus mapping and focus breathing added to the FX3 and would unhappily pay for it. The FX30 has some better features than the FX3 for a hell of a lot less money. Unless you need low light, you can make the case the FX30 is better than the FX3. Yes the ZV will cannibalize the FX3 even more. The FX30 still is a great deal regardless
There's a difference between vloggers and film makers though. This is not a film makers camera. Single card slot, no fan, micro hdmi, cheaper build. The lack of features are fine for social media videos. It looks like an awesome set up for social media creators. There's nothing else out there like it.
Everyone is a photographer and filmmaker now though. The lines get blurred and the meanings are not so defined anymore.

Found it in the official ZV-E1 website spec sheet, it does 10fps in hi+ mode (over 1000 frames in lossless compressed) and the flash sync is 1/30 and up to 1/8000
