Nice shot. Did you pick back up an H2 & H2s? I am considering either getting the 150-600 or going the 500mm Nikon route.

Thanks, Dave!
I got an X-H2 in trade for one of my Nikon lenses, and subsequently picked up a used X-H2S. I had planned to get another Nikon 500PF and even ordered a Fringer adapter, but now I'm starting to think the XF 150-600 might be the more useful lens.

Interesting that you are again using the xh2 /s.
How do you compare the xh2s to the Z8.
In my personal use cases, the X-H2S is better in terms of:
- size
- weight
- cost
- battery life
- build quality
- control layout
- menu system
- better focus bracketing
The Z8 is better at some things:
- better rear LCD design
- full frame resolution (when not used in crop mode...)
- dynamic range
As for AF performance, they are roughly comparable overall; depending on the shooting conditions, sometimes the Z8 is better, and sometimes the X-H2S is better. The Z8 may get better if the rumoured firmware update appears, but as it is now, the AF performance is not enough to make me choose one camera over the other.

The Fuji X-H2S and 150-600mm lens is getting more frustrating the longer I use it. I get more keepers with my Nikon Z fc using a Z 100-400mm lens and 1.4x TC. There is no stacked sensor, no IBIS, just consistent results. Sure the Z fc doesn't get the same results of the Z 9, but at least I can rely on the AF.

How is the 150-600mm doing with the H2 40mp sensor. I know diffraction starts at a low aperture but interested in real world performance since I have the X-T5.
Thank you for the feedback.
I am holding on to my D500 and 500pf, waiting on to see what Nikon releases. It will be a Toss up between the next Nikon body and XH2S.
