YGMV Greg these are just superb images for content and presentation
Glad you saved the last one for last, that is a winner of a bear-sloth !!
Didn't know #12 was a raptor? That is a crazy shot!
#13 should hog up a whole wall somewhere, love it
Great looking series overall.

If that's what spring looks like there, I want to spend a week or so with you ! That's one heck of a random set
You make it tough to pick favorites. If I had to pick one it would be # 13. Excellent set Greg.

What a wonderful set. Made me smile (many times) and generated a bunch ooohs for the little ones.
To learn something today, can someone tell me what what kind of bird is #3?
vbnut - First of all thank you for taking the time to view and comment I truly appreciate it. The bird is Male Ruffed Grouse. It's standing on what is called a drumming log and he is drumming. He will typically beat his wings 45-48 times within 5 to 8 seconds of drumming. It's a really cool thumping sound to hear in the woods. Do a Google search for Ruffed Grouse drumming and there are multiple videos you can watch and listen to if you are interested. Here are a couple more images in the drumming sequence.
Incredible set. Too many wonderful shots to pick favorites, but that last one is unique and funny! Thanks for sharing. I'll be passing this on to non-photographer, but animal loving friends.
