These have to be plugged in, correct? No batteries? I'm looking for a strobe kit, but it seems like I'll need to just get one new; I can't find any on here that are battery powered.

You can also use something like this if you want to save a little money on the lights and use a battery pack that they can plug in to. I used one of these packs for years with these lights before I got my B1's.
