B&H is probably the worst place to order from if you want a new high demand product quickly. I'm sure they have tons of orders they have to fill, and I know they say its first come, first serve but... IDK. They are not my first choice anymore. When there was a tax benefit, it was a no brainer, but now there's a little to consider. Good luck with getting the order filled quickly.

PayBoo is still offered which saves about $125 in taxes on this lens and have received an additional rebate on about half dozen items when deals have been announced within 30 days of my original purchase. So that is all good. My local brick and mortar camera store have only received 2 across their 8 store in New England. So it’s Canon who has dropped the ball in my opinion.
I just had a very strange conversation with B&H about this lens. They said they still haven't received any in yet, and they haven't shipped any out. This seems very odd for B&H. I ordered within a couple of minutes of the time it became available there. Has anyone else gotten one from B&H?
While I ordered mine from B&H and received nothing my local chain, Hunt Photo said the only got two in to support their ordered across all the sores, I think there are 8 in New England. Very strange.
It's hard to be "first in line" at B&H given their national market. I think most often on high demand products you are better off ordering locally or at a smaller more regional online retailer. I have had better luck obtaining high demand products at places other than B&H. I often order there but will usually double down at other places and most often the item is in stock somewhere else first. B&H has been very good so I have no issue with them but I think folks assume they will receive very large shipments.
It isn't so much being first in line at B&H. The part that struck me as being odd is that they said they still haven't received their first RF 135 to send to anyone.

Thanks Steve, I originally ordered from B&H on Nov 3rd. I did not hear anything so I looked around and found one at B&C camera, I checked and they seem to out of stock currently. I normally do not order from B&H anymore but I thought they would have came though on this one but it seems Canon sent out very few copies. Best of luck getting yours.
They’re great photos in this thread. I shoot both Canon and Sony, and if I didn’t own the Sony 135/1.8 already - this lens would be numero uno in my GAS list If one day Canon will make a DS version - I’ll buy it regardless.
