I have just picked up the body from being serviced at the local Canon Authorized Repair Center. It was checked out, cleaned and the hot shoe was replaced. It comes with a 90 day warranty (expires 5/3/04). Other than a bent hot shoe there have never been any problems with the camera. The photos were shot on Monday before the shoe was replaced. I have illustrated all of the blemishes on this body in the photos.

Wow selling the other one. Folks, awhile back I traded for Mark's other 1D. It was supposed to be the one with wear and tear on it, but it is a great camera and looks nearly new. It was well cared for.
Mark was an A+++ person to deal with, even in the middle of a move he got it to me on time (actually faster than I expected) and well packed and everything that was promised came with the camera, and compared to his description the camera is better than described (I didn't ask for pix, he has outstanding feedback).
I would feel safe sending him the money and you can bet you'll be more than satisfied.
