Day 2 started with the first sunrise of the trip . It did not disappoint as to the color. However, instead of a blast off from the geese, we got a blast in. When we arrived at the pond, very few birds there . Thought oh no. The geese arrived and landed in the pond shortly after sunrise. Instead of a blast off from the geese, we got a blast in.
Generally, the birds were far away. So, I tried to show some of the colors and textures of the landscapes in the shots.
I tried to get the sandies flying lower to capture this.
Day 2 comes to an end with little to no birds flying into the pond and heavy clouds. Still a good day at Bosque.
Thank you for looking and hope you enjoy something posted here.
Birdie
1 Geese blast in to the pond :)
2 The sunrise , so glorious
3 Leaving to start the day
4 Little sparrow enjoying some sun in the cold mornings light.
5 Find Waldo - Love how the red winged blackbird seem to form the tree
6 Me and my reflection
7 Sandies flying in front the trees . Still with some color despite the winter cold
Beautiful work ! Hey sometimes you just have to make the most of what we are given. You certainly did that here !
I love the shots that show the birds and the environment they are in. Throw in some Birdie magic ( color ) and you got fine art. More please !
Some may have come away from that outing with nothing. Your creativity saw the potential and you captured it wonderfully
#'s 5,7 and 10 for me are tops and the others follow in closely. Really like the layers of depth and color on #7.
