It has been a long while since I have posted for many reasons. Today I got out on a very dreary day for a hike along some railroad tracks that I have hiked for 50 years! Those trains and tracks are merciless on the poor animals that fall victim to it sadly. The life of a young coyote, a beautiful Redtail Hawk, a few raccoons and a possum were found lifeless.
On an upbeat note I thought I would end up with nothing to share but a few Bluebirds decided to hang around for a few shots. These were taken with Sony A7rIII and Sony 200-600.
C&C always welcomed, thanks for your visit
man those are good looking birds, and well photographed. i see photographers around here shoot them occassionally, but i'm the Bluebird anti magnet it seems.

I have been the Kingfisher anti-magnet so don't feel bad. My experience with them is if you see them in a bush feeding just wait and they will come back so you can become the Bluebird whisperer

Three superb images! The first two are especially nice. Very well taken, Karl.
Hello Ken, I am pleased you liked these. Their color in the Fall with no other foliage around and the soft dreary light really worked well here. Thanks buddy!
