All are excellent images but the first two are my favorites. Second one is a more unique pose though and I can see why so many favor it. Keep it up and thanks for posting.

Karl, Wonderful images as expected from you. I have not posted much either, some health problems have stopped my shooting. I bought the R-3 from Buckeye about five months ago but have only shot a few frames with it. Bruce

Karl,
nice to see you posting images again. I feel that the first image shows the bluebird reflecting on exactly what you're feeling about your hike along the tracks. So beautifully captured.
Show us some more, my friend.
Gero
These were the farewell greeting committee Gero, they do play into the emotions and feel of the day. A kind thanks for your appreciated kind words, thank you.

I am truly sad to hear about the damage that the trains do as I was unaware of this, I am aware what damage cars do, I tend to look the other way because it bothers me to much and there is nothing I can do about it :-(
As for the images #1 is over the top perfect
Hope all is well Karl
Chris
Hi Chris ..... the death of those kind of took the joy out of the hike. I was thankful for the Bluebird cheery greeting on the way back, they always seem to be 'happy birds'
Thanks much my friend....

Those are beautiful Karl. I love the colours, lighting and details. Makes me think I should use my A7RIII more (than my A9II) for similar photos.
Richard
Hello and thanks Richard. It's nice to have the 42mp for cropping, I don't think I'll ever part with my A7rIII, just love the files!
