Had a great trip here 2 weeks ago, first time I get to shoot polar bears from solid ground (a bit more exiting than from a boat ). Also first time I got the opportunity to shoot them in sunset, and two cubs playing so apologies for posting too many images. It is hard to pick favorites.
I liked them on Flicker. Still do. Thanks for the help on a PM last week. I will check the tour people you used. I am guessing you are happy with their services.
These are incredible. You must have had an amazing experience.
It looks like your guides put you in the perfect spot to find and photograph the bears and other species. I really like the mom and cubs in snow and the bears lounging around (belly-up).

Thanks, and yes enthusiatic and skilled guiding. And was probably lucky to get bears in sunset, heard it is usually mostly cloudy while the sea freezes.

so good. from sunrise to sunset? nice!
Thanks. Not sure what is the question. We were out shooting from sunrise to sunset but never managed to find anything during a sunrise, all the sunset images happened during a 25 minute period on the same day.

Wow...I couldn't pick either. These are just stunning. I have a trip planned for next year. I can only hope to get this variety and those sunset images....well, so very happy for you!

The golden light in the first grouping is outstanding, so beautiful, nice! Lots of great images of the cubs at play, my gosh those paws are huge. Sleepy bears, now that is one great image The foxes are stunning against the snow, and that silver fox is mesmerizing. Ptarmigan is a sweet find as is the Hare showing natures disguises. Snowy is a wonderful tree topper as is that glowing sun image. Auroras to finish the set off makes this an easy one to earn my vote, superb work!

Thank you. Enjoyed it so much I will probably return next year too. The guides will probably be helpful finding the other species too if you ask.
