The last shot of the iguana(?) is spectacular! Straight out of a nature documentary!

So I've GOT to ask. What shutter speeds were used to capture those fast moving birds. Also were you in Manual mode? Thanks /quote
I shot on manual with shutter speed of 1/2000 - 1/2500. Cheers!
Having a lot of fun with the A7RV. It will be my main landscape camera in a few weeks shooting spring in the Blue Ridge and Smokies (Sorry Z7II, you’ll be staying home on this trip lol). It excelled last month photographing fast-paced candids of my niece, and yesterday it quickly nailed pupil focus on my old boy Nate.

As well as this camera has been performing for you on everything else, just imagine how great it will be at landscapes which is it's real strength. Just make sure you have the lenses to keep up with the sensor.

I have a good copy of the 24-70/2.8 GM II. The 70-200/2.8 GM II arrives today, and I have the 1.4x. So 24-280mm will cover 95% of the range I regularly use for landscape. Looking forward to getting into the mountains soon with this rig.
Still don’t understand why this lens seems to keep getting a bad rep…. I have it, haven’t used it much but from all images I seen taken with it, they are right on and it’s so tiny…

Thanks Alberto! I chose it due to size and weight and I love that, and I find it plenty sharp enough that I shoot it wide open most of the time.
