Some fashion inspired images I took recently in my home studio of my friend Auna. She's trying to get signed to a modeling agency, so I'm helping her out a little.
Daniel,
You certainly did help her out! I love the grayscale, but you may want to include color versions for the agency to see. Great set.

Thanks James. My intent was and still is to make all of the photos from this shoot black and white, as that was my inspiration and direction from this shoot. Agencies are also very happy to use my black and white photos in my experience. We did an outdoor shoot earlier this year as well that included color shots though, and you'll see exactly why I made sure to include at least one color edit in those photos: https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1775030
I remembered that post. Just seems at least one photo should show that special feature.

That's really not what I want for this set but I appreciate the suggestion. Color was just never what I was inspired to create with these photos even when I was planning and making a mood board for it, and I already have photos from another recent shoot that show her eyes.
From what I can see, they look to be very short like she may be biting them. I am likely wrong, but do really like nails that are a bit longer than hers appear to be, especially on hands that are shaped like hers.

Daniel, Congrats!! #1&3 are just pure pleasure to me!
On some images, I never pixel peep. I try not to look for negatives, or let's say obstuctions to a view?, unless they are way to obvious! The subject just "carries" the composition. This beautiful young woman does that for me!
Congrats!
Dan
Hey nice series not sure how I missed them but certainly a big congrats on the feature win Daniel! You really nailed the light and presentation. I too really enjoyed 1&3 and going back to #2 I guess its just how much pressure she was putting on her hands that just built tension, works for me in a more close to a standard head shoulder portrait though very nicely
Again .....great light and posing and congrats on the win!
