Hello. My first ever post here on FM. This is model Bambi shot in the rolling hills of Chino, CA back in the spring. Stuff doesn't stay green very long in Southern California.
I shot her with a Fujfilm X-T30 and a Takumar 50 mm 1.4 SMC. I found that the focus peaking set to high and with the color red worked best for me in this situation. I had the Fuji body set on auto ISO.
I switched between the Provia and Monochrome film simulations and cleaned them up in Photoshop.
I'm bummed because that Takumar, my favorite MF/vintage lens, stopped working properly. The MF ring keeps slipping.
I especially also like the choice of location for someone called "Bambi" !
Yeah, every photographer should own a radioactive Pentax Takumar 50/1.4. Just an epic lens and IIRC over two millions got produced. Hope you can get yours fixed or get a new copy.
Auto ISO apparently stinks big time on the X-T30 if it really decided to go to 640 in such bright light.
