Yes, that's another special limited edition CV lens outside of I.C.S. special editions. These tend to cost close to 200K yen in Japan 2nd hand market. E.g. https://www.mapcamera.com/item/3717013565019
"For the 25th anniversary of Map Camera, only 250 pieces were produced with the cooperation of Cosina Co., Ltd. Limited model! A limited-edition silver chrome pear-skin body, which is not available in regular products, is bundled with a limited-edition lens hood. Furthermore, the lens barrel material has been changed from aluminum to brass."
I think this is the only special limited edition co-op item between Map Camera and Cosina so far. Map Camera also has one MS-Optics lens made as a special Map Camera version (https://blog.yokokanno.com/?p=12722). Those are also very expensive in 2nd hand market (~250K yen).

I think it's very cool, especially with the matching hood. You should get that red rear cap.
I honestly don't mind the black caps as I find red goes great with black. There's a photo of this very lens with a black paint Leica floating on the net. I can't recall where I saw it, but the matching shiny paint of black and red were amazing. Kinda make me want to get a M body with BP.
Maybe if there's a black paint cap somewhere... that'd be tempting for sure.

Yes, I'm sure it will look nice mounted on a shiny body (BP).
Your lens is number 9 (out of 50)!
The CV 50/1.2 ICM navy blue arrived today. It's number 14 out of 50.
I got lucky and it's brand new never mounted!
The blue color is darker in person and you only realize the lens is not black when light reflects on it at an angle. It's a dark navy blue but my 10-year-old swears it's black.
The good news is that this copy is perfectly aligned with the RF at f/1.2 since I had bad luck with the CV 50/1.2 in the past.

I think it would look better on a silver M camera. Like Panda-blue .
