My friend Chad (who is a member here) and I recently did a photo shoot of a small part of the Las Vegas strip. We have lived here a long time but have never really went out and shot anything. I personally was interested in some long exposures and was looking for unique setups. While in the registration lobby of the Belagio, I saw a woman at a charging station in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. I quickly set up for a hand held 1 second exposure and popped off about 10 photos hoping one was good. Chad and I collaborated on the processing with a 5 layer editing process to not only bring the flowers and woman to the forefront but to mute the saturation of the colors around her and the ceiling. The original can be seen with this link, https://www.joeltpowell.com/Las-Vegas-81622/i-JKFkgB8/A
Beyond the processing this was excellent photographer vision to catch the stationary lady in middle of the fluid and moving crowd! Excellent work Joel!

My eye was immediately drawn to the woman at the charging station and I thought she was a prop/model and this was a staged scene. Even with that thought I liked it a lot. Then I read your post and am really impressed at your quick thinking and quicker photographic reaction. 10 out of 10 stars......
