Finally received my adapter. It seems that contacting them through my paypal receipt got their attention! Anyway, here's a list of lenses that I have quickly tested, all on the Sony A1:
Voigtlander Heliar 15/4.5
Voigtlander Color-Skopar 21/3.5
Voigtlander Nokton 35/1.2 V. II
Canon LTM 50/1.4
Zeiss C/Y 28/2.8 (with C/Y to M adapter)
All work very well with the adapter on the A1. Still need to try AF-C.
Tonight, I was messing around with the adapter and a Zeiss C/Y Distagon 28/2.8. I set the lens to minimum focus distance and was surprised at how close I was able to focus (AF). I was within a few inches to the pictured camera. I was even more surprised at the sharpness of this lens/adapter combo at such close range, shot wide open at f/2.8. I have found that not all lenses behave this well on the adapter.

Thanks for the info. I will add this to the FAQ:
The LM-EA9 is not compatible with partial LTM or M-mount lenses that are with an infinity lock button at the lenses’ flange level. Here are some lenses that are not compatible with LM-EA9:

I had seen that list when I first received the adapter. Didn't make the connection once I purchased the lens, so thank you! I'm using it on a Leica anyway but it would have been a bonus on the Sony.
I got mine today... and used it on the A1 with the Noctilux @ 0/95.
First I upgraded the FW.
I set the the aperture to F8 to get the EXIF to recognize the 50mm focal length. Then back to F2 for proper exposure.
It works, kinda. When it works, it’s really sharp.
It def requires careful attention to make sure it's focusing on what you want it to. I had a few times where it would just not focus at all. No movement of the lens at all. I rotated the focus ring, and then turned camera on and off... and then it worked.
I remember reading there is a setting I can use to AF "more carefully", but slower. I can't remember where I saw that option.

Yes, set aperture to f/57, take a picture and then back to f/2. This is the aperture TechArt recommends using for lenses faster than f/1.4.

Ah… thanks!!
Have you tried it? Does it make a significant difference??
I placed an order through Techart two weeks ago and haven't received any communication beyond the initial order confirmation. For those that bought through them, did you get a shipping confirmation or tracking info? Their website says 5-7 days to ship. How long did it take to receive after ordering? Just wondering if I need to escalate to Paypal or something for a response.

Leitz Elmar 35mm f/3.5 (LTM version)
Leitz Hektor 50mm f/2.5
Leitz Hektor 28mm f/6.3
Leitz Summar 50mm f/2.0 (rigid version)
Leitz Summaron 28mm f/5.6
TTartisan 28mm f/5.6
Voigtlander Heliar 40mm f/2.8
Bummer. I suspect that the 1950s 50/1.5 will also not work, since it also has a lock on the focus ring.

I am also waiting for mine.
I got word the area where they are being manufactured is under covid quarantine, hence the delay.
On the techart website there is a new update 1.6.0, they don't say what the improvements are, have you tried it? Could you tell me more about whether it's worth upgrading?

I'm liking mine. For my style of shooting, the adapter works great. I like the fact that I can 'improve' the minimum focus distance of many lenses. Here's an example, I have the Voigtlander 50/2 APO-Lanthar in a Leica mount. Throw this on the Techart adapter and on my Sony A1, I did a quickie test to see what the corners look like. And they look good.
So, then I can use the Techart adapter to focus while having the lens turned toward MFD. I can get much closer than the lens would otherwise get. Of course, the lens has to be able to deal with the Sony thick filter stack. A 50mm lens typically sees no issue (the wider focal length lenses from 35mm and wider can show problems).
