Whereas the USA model is a LEICA M11, black paint finish (Version EU/US/CN) model 202-00.

Perhaps it's a licence restriction which makes this feature not available depending on the country the camera is sold to.

I just saw this in the user manual:

ROW (Rest of the world): 5 GHz is not available. Only 2.4 GHz
