This camera is very rarely seen here for sale, I just got this from Patrick (credit to him for letting me use his photos), the link to the previous FS thread is below:

Here is an unboxing I did and I used it for some portraits, amazing color!

I wanted to keep this forever (really dont want to sell this), but I am only allowed to have 2 cameras (wifey says so), and since just today May 3rd, 2022 the Governor of Guam lifted the mask mandate, things are slowly turning back to normal, so that means events will be happening, and I need a faster camera for that.

Here are some interesting facts about this camera:

Being that this is a somewhat rare camera, especially in the united states (since it was only sold in Asia and Europe), less than 2,000 made from what I know.

Mamiya ZD brochure is here (site certificate expired) but still can be viewed -
https://ianbfoto.com/downloads/Brochures/Mamiya_ZD_Brochure.pdf

- Medium format digital SLR camera with 22 megapixel CCD sensor. (The colors! wow!)
- Larger sensor than current consumer medium format cameras (Fujifilm GFX series, Hasselblad X1D series, Pentax 645Z/D series, etc). ZD: 48mm x 36mm. The rest (roughly): 43.8mm x 32.9mm
- Burst speed up to 11 fps
- 1.5 fps (higher than alot of new digital medium format cameras)
- Large, bright optical viewfinder
- Compatible with Mamiya 645 lenses, both manual and autofocus. Plan was to get a Mamiya 80mm f/1.9 manual focus lens for this, but never got around to it!
- It's a slow camera operationally, but it can produce some wonderful files with great color.
- More information: https://www.pebbleplace.com/reviews/medium_format/mamiya_zd/index.html

This camera is in great cosmetic and working condition. It comes with:

- Original box
- 3 batteries (one of which has a broken plastic piece, but still works)
- Original charger
- All original manuals, cd, etc.
- IR cut filter holder (filter is in the camera)
- Original strap
- Body cap
- 8GB CF card

The only “flaw” the camera has is that it is missing the plastic cap for the PC port (you can see this missing in the photo of the back of the camera).

The camera comes with a Mamiya 80mm f/2.8 AF. It is in perfect working condition and great cosmetic condition with no flaws on the glass. Comes with hood and caps.

Please PM me for any questions, I would prefer if camera is paid via F&F Paypal for tax purposes from established FM members.

James is great! Wish you could keep it, but such is life. It's a fun camera that's really unique. I certainly enjoyed my time with it!

Yes for sure!! I just shoot it like film, also I forgot the mention one of the best menu systems I have used, really easy to navigate and change things. Focus is super accurate too! Even faster focusing than the Hasselblad X1D contrast detect. Just glad I got a chance to use it and put it up on youtube for those curious
