While shooting the nest building activities of the Osprey and very interesting event took place, a male Osprey from another nest came flying up this the nest I was watching and hovered over it a bit and tried landing. I'm not sure if he was attempting to mate with the female on the nest or just what but I was able to capture some of the activity.
Unless one actually sees them mate, it is an assumption that was the attacking osprey's purpose. Just like eagles, they will also try and kill another osprey pair's chicks or destroy their eggs.

Needless to say, the male from the nest you we’re watching was very upset, huh? Well-captured images and well-documents behavior, Louie!

Many thanks Joshua, it was something to watch this activity not knowing exactly how it would end. All was well after the intruder flew away. Now, just hoping the nest takes and we'll see some chicks in a month or so.
