I've been working with this group of young women for about 5 years or so. They own and run a hair salon and we shoot 2 or 3 times a year. I don't usually get this many ladies in one place at the same time so we always do some creative group shots. This is one of my favorites from just before Covid took over.
Hope a few of you enjoy it and do let me know what you think!!?

INDEED!!!! Just a very unique, creative composition John!
4 beautiful women done so wonderfully!!!!
I love their lips , so full and alternating.....VERY creative!! Again VERY well done!!
Dan
Really fun concept, beautiful models, and I really love the styling with the silk outfits.
If you don't mind my critique, I think the second woman from the top looks like her face is being squished, and the woman on the bottom has an expression that makes her look uncomfortable. I also kind of wish the background was a little darker, that way the empty space in the top right corner wasn't as eye-catching. Really good work regardless.

Dan thanks so much. As always I strive for creativity and different.
Of the 400+ shots on my IG, this shot has the MOST likes which surprises me a bit.
The red lipstick makes it pop!
Thanks
John

Daniel, yes always appreciate critique!
This was actually not a very easy shot. It was a very awkward position to try and hold themselves up without squashing the ones underneath. Got 2 or 3 quick shots and waiting for the lights to regenerate before they collapsed into a laughing pile!
I'm sure I can darken the upper right corner without losing the separation. I've tried to crop more of it out but it loses it's spatial relation with the composition while keeping a 4:5 for IG.
Thanks so much!

Very illusional ... first glance looked like some "mirror tricks".
Rusty, maybe a bit delusional but for sure no mirror tricks!
These ladies are always a fun shoot and game for my antics.
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment!
Thanks
