Congratulations to Dneufarth for winning Feature Thread of the Week with 2 votes - View Previous Winners
I spent Sunday afternoon in the local bar district, and these are a few of the portraits people graciously allowed to be made of themselves. C&C always appreciated. Thanks for viewing, Derek
Up close and personal Derek! All very well done. I am not a person that appreciates body piercings on women nor lavish tattoo's. Leaving my personal nits aside, the women are well done and tones very complimentary. My nits dont influence how I see you compositions.
I found the images that appeared soft actually accented the the viewers focus. In most cases, directly to her eyes(#1). Excellent tones and #11 is great. Smiles and happiness seem to be in a minority nowadays. It is nice to see him having fun and the others engaged with the photographer!

They're all really good. I do think the depth of field might be a little too shallow for some of the really close up ones where the nose is completely thrown out of focus though, but that's simply a personal pet peeve.

These are all very nice. This is brave street portraiture. You obviously were able to strike a rapport with your subjects. This is not easy to do.
Thank you very much. It can be difficult, but it can also be very rewarding.
