We tend throw the word "hero" around far too frequently -- but this guy -- well, he is a first-ballot Sports Photography Hall of Famer in my book.
For all of us who complain about access, sightlines, plexi. fences etc... this guy took matters into his own hands. The solution is not only elegant but the engineering and execution is just superb. Hats off! We need more capable, solution-oriented people like this in all fields.
I don't know why the video starts in the middle when I posted -- but it's well worth scrolling it back to the beginning.
A+ Reminds me of the Canadian airport photo access holes they did in Quebec somewhere?? The addition of the padlock is genius. I'll take one at first and third please!
Speaking as someone who repaired a headlight on his car and ended up with extra parts ... this solution is so far beyond my capabilities that it is incomrehensible. And what a great Dad to do this. I don't think my parents spent as much time at all of my baseball games combined than this gentlemen did welding this masterpiece.
