Beautiful series, such a majestic range. Have you been there during monsoon season?
Thanks for sharing!
@azbill Thank you! My pleasure to share, it’s an intriguing area that I can’t get enough of. I have not been there during monsoon season yet, I imagine that would offer another compelling opportunity with great clouds and storms.

This year I returned to a location that is utterly magical for me - the Chiricahua Mountains in Arizona. I started exploring and working this area a few years ago and it’s become a yearly pilgrimage, as the mystery and intrigue of these ancient rocks keep calling me back. I’ve been blessed with some good light here, rising full moons, crazy last-minute sunset, and a light dusting of snow. I hope you enjoy this set, and thanks for checking it out!
Cheers,
Ross

Wonderful diverse set, each showing a different angle or atmosphere. Obviously you've spent some time there and done it proud.
Thanks much Jim! I’ve been a bit obsessed with Chiricahua since around 2015 and all told have shot about 20 total days there. And still I yearn to go back already.

Awesome series! The last one is simply WOW!!!
Thank you @gannis! For that last image I was standing at the tripod for what seemed like forever in a cold biting wind and was about to pack it up since the clouds had blocked sunset light, and suddenly the intense pink happened for one minute!
That's nice! In photography, the last minute shots always turn out to be special ones.

This series really brings out the personality of this place! Excellent work, Ross! It is evident that you have made the trip more than once to this place. Kudos to your perseverance!

These are all beautiful, but the last one really captures the spirit of that wonderful place. And if those hills could talk!
