Thank you very much, Dave! These owls nibble at the voles and then swallow the rest. If it's a cached vole, they warm it up first by sitting on it.

I am sad to hear this, watching these organized baiting "tours" takes a lot of fun out wildlife photography. I'll leave it at that, it's such an inflammatory topic. And I am very glad you got to spend time to observe these two birds.
